Specifications for Cavalli Couture per Propsearch and the Dubai Land Department. They describe the whole building, not the individual unit.
Two eleven-storey buildings and 88 homes by Damac with Roberto Cavalli interiors: every residence comes with its own infinity pool on a terrace over the canal.
What the project is
Cavalli Couture is built by Damac Properties, through Damac Business Real Estate Company. The map of the waterfront labels it Damac Cavalli Couture Tower, but "tower" is a courtesy: the factsheet describes a complex of two eleven-storey buildings over three basement parking levels.
Engineering and working drawings are by Khatib & Alami, one of the region’s oldest consultancies. The project holds around 88 residences: three-, four- and five-bedroom apartments and six-bedroom penthouses.
Construction started in March 2023 and the original handover marker was May 2025. At the time of writing the building is still listed as under development, so that date has passed — ask for the current programme. The Land Department puts the construction value at AED 152.94 million.
The defining feature of the layouts: every residence has a terrace with an infinity pool facing the canal. It is not a top-floor option but the base configuration, and it is why the building came out so wide across the front and so small in unit count.
What the brand actually means
Cavalli in the name is a licence from the Italian fashion house covering interiors and shared spaces. The declared theme is the Amazon jungle; the amenity list includes a spa, a gym, a cigar lounge and treatment rooms over the water.
In practice the brand answers the question of what the premium over neighbours buys. The building itself is eleven storeys and makes no architectural claim — the money goes on the finish, the shared spaces and a name people recognise. That is a legitimate reason, but it should be called by its name rather than dressed up as engineering superiority.
It is also where the risk sits. Licensed projects are sensitive to how the brand performs at handover: furniture, lighting and materials have to match the showroom. A branded-residence contract is read from exactly that angle — what is supplied, item by item, rather than "interiors by Cavalli".
Transaction prices
The registry gives three markers for this building. A three-bedroom sold for AED 22.439 million in April 2026 — AED 5,306 per square foot. A five-bedroom for AED 36.128 million in November 2025, AED 4,563 per foot. Another three-bedroom for AED 19.924 million in June 2025, AED 5,070 per foot.
Note the pattern: the smaller unit trades at a higher rate per foot than the larger one. That is normal mechanics in the luxury segment — large lots sell at a volume discount — but it breaks the intuition of anyone who assumes more bedrooms means a dearer foot.
A range of AED 4,500–5,300 per foot places Cavalli Couture in the middle of the waterfront: cheaper than the Jumeirah bank, where Four Seasons deals cleared above AED 14,000 per foot, and clearly dearer than Eden House The Park, where the registry shows around AED 3,600.
Location and fit
The address is Al Wasl, southern bank, next to Tolerance Bridge and within sight of Casa Canal and One Canal. Downtown and DIFC are about ten minutes away, the Sheikh Zayed Road ramp is close and Safa Park sits behind.
The building fits the "move-in-ready home" case well: for a buyer who does not want a year of fit-out and furniture selection, a branded residence buys back that year.
It fits letting less well: the brand premium is not fully recovered in the rent, and wear on a branded interior is a line of cost on its own. And it fits a quick resale worst of all — while the developer still holds units, you are competing with him.
